The Buchenhof is a resort for every season...
spring, summer, autumn... enjoy the unique atmosphere of the hotel, situated in a wonderful green area, surrounded by beech trees. Enjoy our outdoor pool with removable cover which allows for swimming in any weather. Have a swim in water heated to a delightful 28-30° C (83 - 87°F).

Different kind of rooms are available - choose between the apartment, the large double room with a comfortable extra couch and a huge bathroom and the rooms with the wonderful view over the lake Wörthersee and the pool, or stay in one of our smaller double rooms with a just lovely view over the garden. All rooms are furnished with care and elegance, varying only in size. The rooms are equipped with satellite TV and radio, bathroom, furnished balcony.

It only takes you 10 minutes to walk to Velden. You can either choose the idyllic footpath through the "Teufelsgraben" along a small river or you can take the side street apart from traffic to get to the centre of Velden.

Our more than 4000m2 park offers different possibilities - just relax or be active.

• Our pool house, which is open 24 hours offers drinks and sweets at any time. If you want you can watch TV, listen to the radio or make use of our huge offer of books and magazines.
  
• "Sport + Games" leisure area with table tennis, soccer and volleyball playground, basketball, boccia, badminton, swings for the little ones and a huge shaded sand-pit.
  

Just relax - and enjoy yourself in the middle of beech and palm trees.





In 2001 an independent institute controlled all hotels in the area round the Wörthersee. Quality standards have been established. Mystery guests stayed at our hotel too and we are very proud to offer the result.
