B: Buchenhof's history

Approximately 30 years ago we, Bruno and Hildegard Mitterberger took over the Hotel Buchenhof from Marianne und Bruno senior. Our little hotel always used to be very neat and beautiful with a wonderful garden. We are very happy to say that we can still provide the best for our guests.

U: unique

After a few years of little changes in our hotel we took the big step (1999 and 2000) and renovated the whole house including replacing windows, doors, floors and curtains. We also built our beautiful swimming pool and “Salettl”, our garden pavilion.

But that was not enough. In the years of 2005 and 2006 we redesigned our façade, the balconies and the whole roof. Finally our very popular “little” hotel got a unique look of which we are very proud of.

C: charm

With a lot of charm and warm colors we tried to make our rooms as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

H: heartiness

Our top goal is it to make your stay at our hotel unforgettable. We spoil you with comfort, friendliness and of course heartiness to make your vacation as good as possible.

Your recreation is provided at our hotel. Enjoy yourself around the pool, under our beautiful beech trees as well as in our new fountain atrium. Have a nice lunch at our barbeque station right next to our children’s playground which is far away from the pool....

N: news

Almost every year we offer something new. This year it is our new wellness spa with finish sauna, steam room, infrared sauna, peaceful meditation room with a beautiful view and a new sun terrace, perfect to relax. We also have a weather resistant hallway from our main building to the pool house.

We are happy to give you as much help, tips and recommendations as we received during our wellness spa-project. We are here for everything you need and to make your stay unforgettable and enjoyable.

We are open for all suggestions, wishes and questions which let us grow and hopefully will make our little hotel like a second home for our guests.
